  2. This could potentially be from the Goryeo period. The dark underglaze designs may be from iron slip or "black slip" under celadon glaze.

  3. Goryeo period - early 12th century (1100-1150)
Iron slip underglaze designs - called "black slip" by the japanese. Celadon glaze

    Broad brush strokes.
with a better image, maybe can identify the design, but looks like a plant with wide leaves. maybe the question mark design represents petals and the entire top portion is a flower??? good coloring - dark green is so hot right now.

  4. after reviewing some examples Professor Weitz sent me, i found that the "s" designs at the top of the shoulders were described as chrysanthemum petals. the rest is a peony design. so my initial assumption could be correct in assuming that the mouth of the meiping vase is the center of a flower, in this case, a chrysanthemum.
